My client, a leading, innovative Environmental and Waste Management company listed on the Kuwait Stock exchange is seeking a General Manager specialising in Waste Management. You'll have held a senior operational/management role for a minimum of 4-6 years and will be required to provide strategic insight into waste production related to steel shredding and plastic extrusion.
The implementaion of your strategies will result in improved efficiencies to ultimately increase revenue, decrease costs and reflect a strong environmental sustainabilty practice.
Identified strategies will require the implementation of new systems and technologies that enhance performance and you'll be required to formulate new operating/good practice polices for the plant as well as the trading functions of the business.
A strong people manager is required to drive, mentor and evaluate the team whilst generating measurable results for the division.
Identifying and entering new lines of business will also form part of this integral role.
Relevant Degree – not negotiable
4-8years experience in a senior waste management role encompassing (preferably implementing) processes and systems that reflected a measurable increase in company/business unit revenue
Extremely knowledgeable in the trading of scrap and recycling materials with the ability to change-manage a turnaround in operations
Must come from Trading/Production/Manufacturing environment
