Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biomedical Equipment Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment used in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate is committed to ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards to support high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair biomedical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and functional testing on medical devices.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
• Ensure equipment complies with safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and healthcare standards.
• Coordinate with healthcare staff and vendors regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
• Provide basic user training on the proper operation and care of medical equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of biomedical equipment, electronics, and diagnostic testing procedures.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Proficiency in using electronic testing and calibration instruments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Previous experience maintaining biomedical equipment is preferred, but qualified entry-level candidates and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pay: KD1,000.000 per month

Work Location: In person
