About the Role

Pawshelf is seeking an experienced and results-driven E-Commerce Director to lead and manage the company’s full e-commerce business and team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing e-commerce strategies, driving online sales and business growth, managing the e-commerce team, overseeing the online customer experience, and ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of the company’s digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall e-commerce business and team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and profitability.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the online store.
  • Oversee digital marketing, promotions, product merchandising, and online campaigns.
  • Monitor sales, website traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition, and other key performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities to improve website performance and customer experience.
  • Coordinate with inventory, fulfillment, customer service, and other departments.
  • Lead, motivate, and evaluate the e-commerce team.
  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to support business decisions.
  • Prepare performance reports and recommend actions for continued growth.
  • Manage relationships with relevant technology providers, agencies, and e-commerce partners.
  • Ensure the business remains competitive and up to date with current e-commerce trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, online retail, digital commerce, or a related field.
  • Previous experience managing an e-commerce team or business function.
  • Strong understanding of online sales, digital marketing, and e-commerce operations.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of website analytics and e-commerce performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the Kuwait or GCC e-commerce market is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
