Medical Service Technician jobs

Employers in Canada are recruiting Medical Radiation Technologists/X-ray technicians through Canada's Provincial nominee program which may leads to Canada's Permanent Residency.

Job Description:

• Operate X-ray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, computerized tomography (CT) scanners and mammography units to produce radiographs or anatomic images of the human body for the diagnosis by radiologists of disease or injury
• Record and process patient data
• Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment
• Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the radiographic examination
• Explain procedures, position patient and equipment and apply radiation protection measures
• May train and supervise student radiographers or supervise other radiological technologists.

Requirements:

• Atleast 4 years of work exp is required
• Must be licensed in the country of current practice
• CAMRT approval letter is an advantage but not an upfront requirement, it will be required at a later stage
• Requirement for English exam scores will depend on the no of years of work experience you already have to satisfy the points of the provincial nominee program
