Full job description

A Supermarket Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking shelves, and assisting with daily store operations to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing goods and filling shelves
  • General knowledge of goods and displaying products according to the Employer's standards
  • Monitoring expiration dates and separating expired products
  • Setting and checking displayed prices
  • Checking the quantity and quality of displayed products
  • Adhering to and implementing the provisions of the HACCP system
  • Participating in inventory taking
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order on shelves and in the sales area
  • Communicating with customers, providing professional and quality customer service
  • Respecting regulations, internal acts and procedures, adhering to all applicable principles of the Employer's work
  • Other tasks as ordered by the Employer
