Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our technical service team in Kuwait. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other healthcare facilities.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in biomedical equipment servicing, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel to customer locations across Kuwait. A valid driving licence suitable for driving in Kuwait is required for attending customer service calls and performing on-site maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and commission medical equipment at healthcare facilities.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on biomedical devices.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct calibration, performance testing, and electrical safety inspections.
• Service medical equipment such as patient monitors, ECG machines, infusion pumps, defibrillators, and other hospital devices.
• Visit hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and customer sites across Kuwait for technical support.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for spare parts, warranty claims, and technical support.
• Provide technical assistance and basic equipment training to healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable medical device regulations and safety procedures in Kuwait.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and resolve technical issues promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in medical equipment maintenance or technical service preferred.
• Good knowledge of medical equipment installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair.
• Familiarity with service manuals, diagnostic tools, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations throughout Kuwait.
• Valid Kuwait driving licence, or eligibility to obtain the required licence, according to the employer's requirements.
• Male candidates preferred where lawful and justified by the role.
• Candidates currently residing in Kuwait or willing to relocate may apply.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
