Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and experienced Waitress / Barista to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in restaurant, café, or hospitality operations, along with practical knowledge of coffee preparation and barista duties.

The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and preparing coffee and other drinks according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take customer orders accurately and provide information about menu items.
  • Serve food, beverages, coffee, and other products efficiently.
  • Prepare coffee and espresso-based beverages according to established standards.
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other bar equipment.
  • Ensure proper presentation and quality of all beverages served.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining and service areas.
  • Prepare tables and ensure the restaurant/café is ready for service.
  • Process customer orders and coordinate with the kitchen and bar team.
  • Handle customer requests and provide professional service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of coffee equipment and workstations.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and company procedures.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties when required.
  • Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods.

Candidate Requirements

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Waitress, Barista, or Waitress/Barista is required.
  • Experience in a café, restaurant, bakery, or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Practical experience in coffee preparation is mandatory/preferred, depending on the candidate's overall experience.

Coffee & Barista Skills

  • Good knowledge of espresso-based beverages such as:
  • Espresso
  • Americano
  • Cappuccino
  • Latte
  • Mocha
  • Other hot and cold coffee beverages
  • Familiarity with coffee machines and grinders.
  • Basic understanding of coffee quality, preparation, and presentation.

Customer Service

  • Friendly and professional personality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and provide excellent service.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy periods.

Other Requirements

  • Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience working in Kuwait/GCC hospitality operations will be an advantage.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can handle both waitress duties and basic barista/coffee preparation responsibilities, with a strong focus on customer service, cleanliness, and beverage quality.

Candidates with hands-on coffee preparation experience will be given preference.

Pay: KD200.000 - KD270.000 per month
