Full job description

Looking for Kitchen Helper minimum 1 years’ experience in Catering Company or Restaurant with good knowledge of quantity food production.

- Ability to read, interpret and demonstrate the preparation of recipes.

- Very good oral and written communication.

- Very good knowledge of quality food operations.

- Excellent knowledge of special cuts ordered by Chefs .

- Familiar with food preparation for cooking (cutting, marination ...etc) .

- Prepare and marinate meat cuts and products ready to cook as per menu & recipe

- Wrap, weigh, label, of food, Receive, inspect, and store meat , poultry, and fish upon delivery to ensure meat quality.

- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, using boning knife, skewer, and twine.

- Estimate requirements and order or requisition meat supplies to maintain inventories.

- Supervise other butchers or meat cutters.

- Record quantity of meat received and issued to cooks or keep records of meat consumption.

- Cure, smoke, tenderize, and preserve meat meat , poultry, and fish

- Maintain the general food safety standards and requirements of local food authorities

- Must be resident in Kuwait with visa # 18

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: KD180.000 - KD200.000 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kuwait City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
