Share your experience to help others

Overall, a good place to work. You need to be alert to be sure that needed details and tasks are performed, otherwise mishaps occur fast.

A good place to work if you're after a steady job with steady pay. It's the kind of place where the less that mgmt seeks your attention, the better. It means that you're doing your part.

Hard work, great pay

If you have worked in the oilfield, you are probably used to the conditions faced in this work environment. If you are considering a job in this industry, just know that it comes at a personal cost. This company compensates people well for their time and management provides the support field operations need most of the time.

Pros

Money

Cons

Life passes you by

Overall, a great place to break into the fracking industry.

Good people to work with. Compensation on par. Not a typical job. You'll know when its time to work heavy, and when its time to chill out. Family.

Work in all kinds of weather

Backstabbing

Backstabbing people that work there are always trying to get you at the beginning the company was great to work for I wouldn’t work for them anymore and If you weren’t a part of their click you were not going anywhere all they did was stab you in the back

Great place

Great company to work for. Left for other reasons but would go back if another opportunity arises. Company did good amid the financial situation they were in.

Hard work and fair pay

From what I saw the company varied from region to region. The frac yard in North Dakota had some awesome management in place and took care of the workforce as much as they could qoth what they had. In other areas it seemed they didn't care about the people as much. The closer to Texas you got the more resources they had yet worried about taking care of their people less. I hope the restucture into Nextier can fix some of their problems.

Pros

Lots of overtime money available.

Cons

Varying schedule can mess with your family time

Cons

Stay Away

Not a good place to work. Management talks behind your back, when they feel threatened to try make you leave A lot of favoritism within the company.

Run!

Work-life balanceThis is the worst company i have ever worked for. They are unorganized, lazy, and managment doesnt have a clue how to run a machine shop. The working conditions were horrible until Osha came in and threatened to fine them for running dirty cnc machines with bacteria growing in themPay & benefitsThey would rather pay unskilled workers a little bit then actually hiring real machinist and paying what they are worthJob security and advancementIf your not one of the guys then you dont stand a chance of moving upManagementThe suck! They do not understand how to run a companyCultureEverybody does a horrible job of making sure parts are correct because nobody cares. They might tell you they do but ive seen pallet loads of bad parts go outOverallDo not work for this company they are unorganized and mismanaged. Supervisors micro manage everything and will not let you juat run your machine. It took them getting busted by osha for having unhealthy working conditions before they decided to do the correct maintanance. They are a joke

Learned and able to contribute a lot

I was challenged here and loved working in what folks would deem a stressful role. My manager was awesome and always had a handle on everything we had to work or deal with.
