I have been working for Deliveroo for over a year now and I can say it is not something you want to do for full time. The pay is between £8 to £16 depending on your speed and various other factors. Best to do on a electric bike. If you thinking of joining, why not earn extra money by using this referral code of mine (https://roo.it/RA228770). You will get paid this bonus after completing 30 orders. I will get something from them as well. Ride safe and enjoy.
hard graft that is if you can get a shift as they hire too many people per area. there is limited to no social worklife, it is hardgraft but the pay and zero hour contract is good to work when you have other commitments
As a student I used to be abe to make a living off working for deliveroo, but they changed the system overnight so I couldn’t book any hours and literally made it impossible for me to make any money, without any warning. They don’t care about emoloyeees, they make you pay for the uniform. I don’t recommend working for them to anyone. Go to Justeat or Uber eats, much better in all regards
Great company with many benefits through perkbox which given discounts in cinemas and shops. Nice pay, easily achievable £10 an hour. Freedom of choice of own shifts and working hours. Unfortunately in bad weather is not that easy but in bad weather there is more job and higher chance to catch a double delivery which pays much more. However I had my bike stolen so stopped working with them as I do not have another bike.
Bought a moped. Started deliveries on the side of working a full time job. Quit my job last week to focus on Deliveroo. I work everyday. 7 days a week. I get out what I put in. I average about 30-40 deliveries a day..and i've never been happier. Going from a 1200 a month job to making over 3000 a month for doing what I love.. riding around on my moped. Thanks to deliveroo.. and the students being back.. life is good. So much drama over fees but you get out what you put in.
deliveroo is a great company to work for. you can choose when you want to work. for me personally, I find it hard to be motivated to work when it is too cold to work, therefore during this winter, I have not really worked much. the other courier riders are all nice. they will all say hi when you ride past them and smile. the hardest part of the job is delivering food to houses that are far away and you need to bike u hills. the best part is when I get tips. when I get tips I tend to work for longer
