A typical work day would be unloading and stocking 2-3 trucks. At Kuehne + Nagel I learned that constant hard work will benefit you in the long run. Management was respectful and admirable for their commitment. The work culture was diverse I had co-worker from all ethnicities. Hardest part of the job was pick up from a fellow crew member who slacked but we all were one. Most enjoyable part of the job was wrapping and stocking packages.
a very productive workplace. people friendly. clean environment. great management. a great place to learn picking aat a decent pace. a place in which i got another chance to show that i can drive 3 types of forklifts
Facility management was very good. Customer mix was wide and varied. Most customers were fine to deal with some were very difficult. WMS system NOT user friendly at all. Continues improvement was a process they were trying to get moving but with very little success in this facility. Company believed in "Lean" but took it to far with white collar and exempt positions.
Fun work place, new and interesting details learned about billing and invoicing. I really enjoyed working with the customer and going into the warehouse to look for customer products. The pace was fast and you had to be on top of your game. I found this job to be very challenging yet with its down falls. The pay was fair to poor. In the end I found that I really liked the warehouse end of shipping and receiving than I did the customer service end.
Fast paced, variety, and high energy level dealing with the customers
Low pay wage, some struggles with some of the office employees, and the hours where in the middle of the into the night.
