Probably one of the better places I’ve worked. Super chill laid back. Pretty much getting paid to fold panties. The only thing was that I got 10 hours a week and some weeks didn’t work at all. I was a temp, and was told the cut off was the 19th but I would receive a two notice if I wasn’t going to be kept. After the 1st I was never scheduled again. But it wasn’t uncommon to go a week with out work. The only reason I found out I was let go was that my login for the online schedule stopped working no one ever reached out
Hours aren't consistent (some weeks I work 40+ hours while other weeks I get less than 5 hours), managers play favorites and at the same time half of the managers don't do anything other than hiding out in the office, and if you don't get your credit card goals each month then they threaten to fire you. Pay is good though. Work mainly with girls right out of high school so if you don't like to be around people who party all the time and come in hung over everyday then this isn't the place for you. Managers come in late quite a bit, one of them is because she is hung over. Girls can be really catty towards each other and some ignore you completely because they think that they are better than you. I feel like an outcast here
Pay, free outfit each quarter, discounted clothes, flexible schedule
Managers threaten you every month for not hitting sales and credit card goals, no PTO if you work less than 20 hours a week
it was a part time job, lots of fun, mandatory to work black friday, most enjoyable was making women feel good about themselves, team work was great, hardest part was not able to do anything with shoplifters, everyone was supportive of each other
discount, great teammates
not many full time positions available w/o relocating
I loved working at VS! It really wasn't like I was working at all. I really enjoyed the people I worked with and the support of every team member. We set goals together and then proceeded to bust right through them.
Fun job, but job security is nonexistent. Great for those needing experience in the work world and good pay for those who need a job but haven't finished their degree.
Discounts on product, flexible hours
Miscommunication with management, disorganization
Gained overall retail experience working in sales, on cash, and store operations. All coworkers and management were extremely friendly. Fairly easy job, but does have expectations of their employees!
Flexible hours, great discounts, and friendly staff.
Working on holidays
The company is fun and full of fresh ideas. The energy motivates you to exceed your limits. As rewarding as this sounds, the competition for advancement is high. With a long list of employees on payroll, hours are scarce. Chances to prove yourself hardly present themselves since one is scheduled for less than 20 hours a week. One can easily find themselves settling for their current position and never advancing onto something more.
