I worked at Victoria Secret for 5 years and I learned more Communucating skills and selling techniques in this field. I learned also how to handle customer coplaints in diff. Nationalities
The communication at this job is horrendous. I should know because of the complaints I would get daily from customers. Additionally, during hectic times, cashiers would often get yelled at or scolded over headsets for honest mistakes. Registers were faulty, breaks were rarely given, and employees were not appreciated unless they were favorites. Above all, I went well over a month without ANY hours. I wouldn’t recommend working here unless you want headaches and mistreatment.

Cons
Short breaks, no hours
This job has things called “on calls” they will tell you last minute if you are going to be working a couple hours AFTES you were supposed to get off. There are days you will work until 2-3am because they take as advantage of you time. The management is a joke. The money is truly not worth it. And can’t forgot about the 15 minute breaks that the manager on duty will most likely forget to send u on

Cons
Short break, bad hours
Time goes fast when its busy can get extra hours during holiday season, part time hours, hourly pay . easy to follow schedule with online access of schedule
I was hired as a seasonal and kept on after my initial contract had ended. I met wonderful people during my time as a seasonal but almost all of the seasonal girls were let go once our contracts ended. Those who were kept either had good selling skills, customer skills, or just general skills (able to clean & organize quickly, cash desk, or in my case not have any complaints against me according to the manager). The management clearly favoured certain girls and if you weren't a good seller the less hours you got. Management would talk behind your back about you and others and was generally very fake in personality regardless if you worked there or was a customer coming into the store. The girls who have worked there for longer were also more likely to be rude and judgemental towards you. More often then not they will be the ones stealing your sales.

Fake coworkers and management
Management gets away with murder is all I will say. Managers are nasty and disgusting, very much rude towards most workers and never ever take workers needs into consideration. Very unhealthy atmosphere. Starting is okay until managers feel like they’re reading to toss you over the entire place.
Pros
Decent pay. Place to grow and learn, with amazing coworkers!
Cons
HORRIBLE management.
Some coworkers and (very few) friendly customers are what makes this job worth it. There is such a competitive atmosphere here and I don’t understand why, it’s a minimum wage job in Temecula. Management here is so biased it’s ridiculous, managers and their favorite employees can bend the rules but others can’t. Also do not think you mean anything to them. The managers just see you as how much money you bring in or how many credit cards you get. I remember I called them when I was throwing up to tell them I couldn’t make my shift, the store manager said “oh really ok, well that’s going to be a point since your shift starts soon.” I should’ve quit then.
Pros
discounted store items
Cons
terrible management, lots of karen’s
Management Basically if you're not one of their favorites, they treat you like garbage. Managers will talk poorly about an employee to OTHER employees. Always caused unnecessary drama. Overall It's an alright job. The pay is alright. The coworkers are alright. People will steal your sales and then you'll get in trouble with management. So be careful.
Overall I'm not really type of person that likes to write reviews, but this really was a bad place to work... Work life balance, management, pay and benefits among other things were all pretty bad. For a minimum wage job, working here is not great.... You're better off elsewhere...
It’s okay for holiday only since after that you really only work super part time which was fine because I was in school. Other than that it’s a good part time job

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
I got my first job here and was super excited when I first started working here. However they taught us to racially profile and always assume someone of a different race was going to steal. I almost always got stuck ringing up people instead of helping people on the floor which is what I expressed interest in. My coworkers were great people and we stayed in touch after I left but I didn't enjoy the job and was happy to leave
It was fun and exciting to work here because as you did the floor you get to see all the merchandise and even try it on later. The managers were so nice and they did care about you.

Long shifts
Estoy parada por la pandemia es muy bueno el trabajo pero ahora mismo está cerrado por cuestión de la pandemia por esa razón estoy buscado otros trabajos
This is a good job if you are starting in the workforce. You learn customer service skills, face to face skills. There's physical labor as well as some creativity if you work floorsets.
If you’re enjoy helping customers and have plenty of patience then this is the place for you. All the ladies are lovely and amazing to work there. Manager is awesome and works so well with you, she definitely has a great team
I loved working here because of the community. Working with a group of women was an awesome experience and all my coworkers were really accepting and chill. I will not lie, for a retail job it took a lot of work. From the late night shifts spent rearranging the whole store, to dealing with rude customers, to staying on top of your game when it came to knowing the products you were selling, it wasn't easy. But if I had the chance to do it all again I would, I learned so much and the happiness I felt when helping another girl feel sexy and comfortable with her body was like no other.
Working at VS was quite difficult because of the management. They were not open in terms of flexibility of hours, and the management group is younger and do not know what they are doing.

The good thing is the employees make you feel welcomed the managers are understanding there wasn’t really any bad things about working here it’s a fun working environment
A lot of unsafe working conditions. You will get sick a lot but you do get free apparel if you do mandatory VSU. Hours are sparce during the off season but hectic and busy during Winter.
Most of the employees were collage students who didn't really have good customer service. They were very disorganized on where to put people. At the end of the day many people would just stay and talk rather then finish cleaning up or helping.
