We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Fresher Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. The candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, documenting issues, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to build a career in software testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and software specifications.
• Prepare and execute manual test cases based on requirements.
• Identify, document, and report software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
• Work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues.
• Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and QA activities.
• Learn and follow software testing best practices.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts.
• Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (Jira is a plus).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Selenium or other automation tools.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman.
• Understanding of Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of Git is an added advantage.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2024, 2025, or 2026 graduates are encouraged to apply.
• No prior work experience required.
• Internship or academic projects in software testing are a plus.

Pay: KD150.000 - KD250.000 per month
