About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tailor who specializes in making craft and accessory products from fabric and leather. This is not a clothing tailor role. The candidate should be skilled in cutting, stitching, and finishing small products neatly, and able to make items by looking at a sample.

Key Responsibilities

Fabric Craft Products:

• Stitch items like tote bags, pouches, cushion covers, aprons, table runners, gift bags, and printed fabric products
• Work with sublimation, DTF, and printed fabrics, keeping the print aligned and centered
• Add zippers, linings, handles, piping, and labels neatly

Leather Craft Products:

• Make items like wallets, card holders, keychains, passport covers, diaries/notebook covers, coasters, and small bags
• Cut leather and PU/faux leather accurately with clean edges
• Do edge finishing, stitching, and attach rivets, snaps, buckles, and hardware
• Handle engraved or printed leather carefully without damaging the design

General:

• Make a product by looking at a sample, photo, or customer request
• Take measurements, make patterns, and cut material with minimum wastage
• Maintain consistent quality in bulk orders and custom pieces
• Do basic maintenance of sewing machines
• Complete orders on time

Requirements

• Minimum [2–3] years experience in fabric and/or leather craft product stitching
• Skilled on industrial sewing machines (single needle; leather / walking-foot machine experience preferred)
• Good knowledge of pattern making and material cutting
• Clean finishing and attention to detail
• Experience with hand stitching for leather will be a plus
• Hardworking and able to handle both custom and bulk orders
